| Summary, etc | 「起源篇」探討了宋儒與基督教的宇宙論，發現中國的宇宙論比西方二元論科學觀更切合基督教的觀點；「政治篇」比較了孔子與路德的秩序觀，發覺兩者竟有十分相似之處；「倫理篇」比較了伊璧鳩魯、康德和祈克果的倫理觀，並以孟子作回應，認為他的良知貫穿了中國二千年的倫理學，是中國文化的核心；「救贖篇」主要比較儒家與道教的救贖觀，有趣的是基督教的創造、救贖與道教的「肉身成道」有互相呼應的地方；「操練篇」透視了王陽明與路德的屬靈∕成聖的精神。在今日物化的社會，人們無不為口奔波，本篇的探討，則著眼於心靈的釋放。<br/><br/> 「靈魂篇」一致肯定了無論是儒家或基督教早期的教父，人生的價值都要在今世建立。死亡的生命只是人生的附篇︰儒家的生命在於子孫延續，沒有永生；基督徒死後不會轉化成其他生存狀態，而是只等候復活。鬼怪的事不應由人世轉出來；「末世篇」從基督教的角度去探討中國人對理想國的追求。<br/><br/> 中國神學研究院中國文化研究中心主任楊慶球博士在本書裡圍繞著宗教哲學、中西文化比較、中西倫理比較等方面，進行理性的分析和反思。作者從基督教觀點看中國文化，給讀者帶來啟發：如何看待中國傳統文化和近代西方文化，以及宗教文化的關係，仍然是值得思考的重要課題。 |
