高偉勳（Graeme Goldsworthy）曾任教於澳洲雪梨的穆爾神學院（Moore Theological College, Sydney, Australia），教授舊約聖經、聖經神學、與釋經學。目前已經退休，但仍部份時間在該校授課。除本書外，高偉勳著有《認識聖經神學》（校園）、《天國與福音》（基道）等書。
