神的話是易明的，但易明的聖經也有難明的部份，是因時代的湮遠、文化的差異、言語表達的特徵，翻譯上的誤解，這一切使人易於錯解聖經。
筆者在各處教導神學時，發現一般信徒深受一些傳統解經的誤導，遂對某些真理有錯誤的解釋和應用。故多次試用原文輔助詮釋，並備用不同的版本，使經文更合原意，這樣在應用上就不致牽強和偏差。
